Manual-Clean Ovens must be sprayed down the night before. Please line your floor with paper to catch any product drippings. Self-clean ovens need to be ran the night before.

• Yes, our green cleaning products are just as efficient and will often outperform most conventional cleaners.  On occasion we run into surfaces with excessive build up that would require a chemical based product. In situations like this, we will use whatever product you have on hand, or have purchased.

• Tips are always appreciated, but not required.

• At Maid to Shine we Guarantee all our work!  If something bothers you, we want to know!
• Simply call us within 24 hours of your cleaning, if something wasn’t cleaned to your satisfaction. We will come back and make it right.

• We do not offer refunds on cleanings. Our commitment is to do the job right the first time. Please check out our Satisfaction Guarantee though.

• We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, checks or cash.  Payment is due on the day of services unless prior arrangements have been made.

• We do everything we can to ensure our employees are trustworthy and honest.
• All potential candidates are thoroughly background screened, drug tested and finger printed prior to hiring.  We will not hire anyone with a criminal background. As an added safe guard, we do ask that you secure sentimental and monetary valued items prior to your scheduled cleaning. All cleaners and employees of Maid to Shine are bonded and insured.

• We will call you if we break something. Our cleaners are extremely careful with our customers belongings. However, accidents happen. When they do, our policy is to inform you right away.  if we can’t reach you, we’ll leave the item on your kitchen counter with a note of apology.
• Breaking your stuff breaks our hearts, so help us prevent it!  If it’s valuable, please secure it somewhere super-safe. Make sure pictures and mirrors are securely hung and items that are top-heavy or wobbly are not around, as we can’t take responsibility for them.

• Yes. We carry general liability insurance; workers comp and all cleaners are bonded.  We take the security of your home very seriously and do everything we can to make sure we are all protected.

• No need to “clean” before we arrive. Please just pick up any clutter.
• Please secure any pets that may be runners or display intimidating behavior. We can’t be responsible for pets escaping through the door while we are carrying in or caring out equipment and supplies.

• Bio-hazards cleaning (like mold, blood, bodily fluids)
• Wash dishes or empty dish washers
• Clean cat litter boxes
• Clean up animal waste
• Wash Exterior Windows
• Clean garages
• Clean up rodent droppings
• Clean any glassware with a crack. This includes microwave plates
• Clean beyond the reach of a 2-step ladder
• Move or lift anything over 20 pounds
• Clean carpets
• Professional organizing

• You can select a package of services and/or additional services, customized to meet your needs.  We will bring all the cleaning supplies and tools needed to make your home shine, with the exception of a vacuum cleaner.  (We believe using your vacuum is more sanitary.)  If you have a special product that you prefer that we use, just let us know!

• You do not need to be home when we clean.  No one home means the best cleaning results!  Fewer people at home means fewer distractions!

• Most customers will leave a key in a designated place, use a combination lock, or give us the garage code.  Our cleaners are reliable and will make sure your home is locked up when finished.

• To cancel or change an appointment, please call 618-258-8455 at least 24 hours in advance.

• We make every effort to send the same solo cleaner or team every time.  The exceptions would be someone sick or on vacation, but a substitute cleaner will be provided. We do not use sub-contractors, so you can we sure it will be a well-trained Maid to Shine employee cleaning your house.

• Offer professional cleaners who are fully trained and insured.  We do thorough background checks and drug tests on all employees.

• Maid To Shine is always willing to customize your cleaning to meet your unique needs. Please note that some special tasks may require additional time and charges, therefore it is best to make these arrangements prior to your cleaning. We want to ensure enough time is set aside and that the cleaner is fully equipped for the task at hand.

• Yes, gift cards will expire 12 months from the day of purchase.

• Gift cards are not refundable. They are however transferable, provided they live within our service area. So yes, gift cards can be re-gifted.

• At Maid to Shine you can book, or cancel your appointments all online without even having to call.
• To book, simply click the book now tab and fill out the customer form. Your price and available dates will automatically be generated.
